Engaged
When I read the word, my heart sank. "Engaged." Why did I even care? Because I knew her before him. Because I knew her even before the beginning of the relationship PRIOR to him. And I'm here . . .8 years later . . .without a ring on my finger.
And I felt frustrated and jealous.
Which seems to be a recurring emotion these days.
